being married to a diabetic is never boring

I called from the car on the way home from work
his words were slurred
I asked him to eat something and he said he would
after 4 stops, and hour later, I walked in
he was a mess -- telling me that he didn't know what was wrong

2 20-ounce sodas and a bunch of crackers later he was up to 47 !

so much for my relaxing evening.....

  1. Oh dear God! We just never know what we will come home to, do we? I know how scary, emotionally draining, and frustrating this can be. Hope things are better now. Hugs to you . . .

  6. Anonymous,
You are welcome for the info. Disturbing information, but it validates what so many of us are already seeing. Take care, and hang in there.
